STEP 1.) Open
your Hard Disk and select the Assistants Folder. Click on the Icon labeled
Internet Setup Assistant.

STEP 2.) Click
Yes to continue.

STEP 3.) Click
Yes to create the first Internet Account.

STEP 4.) Click
the Right Arrow to continue.
|
STEP 5.) For
"What would you like to name this configuration?", enter Value Connect. For
"How will you be connection to the Internet?", click Modem. Click the Right
Arrow to continue.

STEP 6.) Select
your Modem, Port and select between Tone and Pulse. Click the Right Arrow to
continue.

STEP 7.) The
phone number for this configuration should be your Value Connect Local Access
Number. (To disable call waiting, enter *70, followed by a comma, before your
local access number.) The name you use with this service should be your Value
Connect User Name. Your Password should be your Value Connect Password. Click
the Right Arrow to continue.

STEP 8.) Under
PPP Connect Script, select No. Click the Right Arrow to continue

STEP 9.) Under
Domain Name Servers, enter the following numbers for the DNS Addresses:
(216.151.83.45, 216.151.83.55) Enter valueconnect.net for the Domain Name.
Click the Right Arrow to continue.

STEP 10.) Enter
your E-mail Address (username@valueconnect.net) and your Value Connect
Password. Click the Right Arrow to continue.

STEP 11.) Enter
mail.valueconnect.net for your Incoming Mail and mail.valueconnect.net for
Outgoing Mail. Click the Right Arrow to continue.

STEP 12.) Unless
you have a newsgroup you would like to join click the Right Arrow to continue.

STEP 13.) Select
No and click on the Right Arrow.
